Chris Grava is a designer and visual storyteller specializing in data visualization, infographic design, and video production.
He has created strategic commercial design work for clients worldwide, spanning community-based organizations, nonprofits, and government departments to technology startups, venture capital firms, and leading management consulting practices. His personal film and multimedia projects have been exhibited at Gallery One11 (Cape Town), CAMA Gallery (London/Los Angeles), Dome Fest West (Los Angeles), and Iziko Museums of South Africa, as well as screened at independent festivals in China, Poland, and Portugal.
Chris is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Intsikelelo, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering vulnerable individuals through community-led initiatives. His work with Intsikelelo has reached millions of viewers online, crowdfunded diverse social impact programs, and earned a sponsorship from GoPro.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with minors in English and Corporate Strategy from Vanderbilt University, and has pursued further studies at Harvard University, New York University, the University of Cape Town, ORMS Cape Town School of Photography, Friends of Design Academy of Digital Arts, and School of Motion.
